Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Fueli mobile application ("the App"), developed by Lewin Widmer ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of service

Fueli generates AI-assisted meal plans based on information you provide (dietary preferences, allergies, goals, etc.), and lets you track meals, log food, and optionally sync with Apple Health.

2. Not medical advice

Fueli is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, food allergy, or intolerance.

While the App allows you to specify allergies and dietary restrictions, meal suggestions are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for independently verifying that any meal, ingredient, or product is safe for you before consuming it — particularly if you have a severe or life-threatening allergy.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Premium features are offered via an auto-renewing subscription, purchased and billed entirely through the Apple App Store.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, via your Apple ID account settings.
• Payment, billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's own policies — we do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds ourselves.

5. Free-tier limits

Free accounts are subject to daily/periodic limits on meal plan generation and meal swaps, and certain actions may require watching a rewarded video ad. We may adjust these limits at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App or its backend services.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and underlying code, is owned by Lewin Widmer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated meal plans or nutrition data.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any health-related outcomes resulting from meals or nutrition information provided by the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, including abuse of free-tier limits. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
